CONCEPT
振付家・映像作家のスー・ヒーリーが2013年から2019年まで、オーストラリア、香港、日本で行ってきたダンスと映像のプロジェクト『ON VIEW』の新たな展開として国際共同製作による映像とダンスによるライブパフォーマンス『ON VIEW：Panorama』を行います。
日本、香港、オーストラリアのダンサー、スタッフが城崎アートセンターで創作を行い、2020年1月に日本にて世界初演後、香港、オーストラリアでのツアーを予定しています。
On View: Japan is part of the On View series and produced by Aichi Prefectural Art Theater, by Sue Healey (On View: Live Portraits, Australia, 2015, On View: Icons, 2017 and On View: Hong Kong, 2016/17). The culminating work On View: Panorama, a co-commission from West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, Aichi Prefectural Art Theatre and Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No.1, is currently being developed and will include artists from Hong Kong, Japan and Australia. This major work will premiere in Yokohama in February 2020 before touring to Aichi, Hong Kong and Australia.

『ON VIEW』シリーズは、振付家・映像作家のスー・ヒーリーと日本、香港、オーストラリアのダンサーとクリエイティヴ・スタッフたちによる国際共同制作プロジェクトであり、ライブ・パフォーマンスと映像インスタレーションよるジャンルや文化の垣根を超えたマルチ・メディア作品です。
ダンサー自身と映像の中のダンサーとが交錯するこの作品により、「見ること」と「見られること」のダイナミクスについて、また取り巻く文化によってカラダはどんな影響を受けるのかという問いに取り組んできました。
そして今回の『ON VIEW：Panorama』では、ダンサーのポートレイトと個人のアイデンティティーとの関係性のあくなき追求から、ダンスと映像をシームレスにつなぎ合わせました。それによりパフォーマンスするカラダが消えない痕跡をどう残すのかを明らかにしていきます。
スー・ヒーリー
Sydney-based choreographer and filmmaker Sue Healey partners with artists from Hong Kong, Japan and Australia to present The ON VIEW series – a cross-disciplinary, cross-cultural production combining live dance performances, film installations and exhibitions.
The work invites a deep level of engagement with the dynamics of “seeing” and “being seen”, and how the body is influenced by the culture it is surrounded by.
“ON VIEW: Panorama”seamlessly combines dance and film to interrogate ideas about portraiture and identity, revealing how the presence of the body in performance leaves its indelible mark.

スー・ヒーリーSue Healey
振付家、映画監督、アーティスト。シドニーを拠点に活動。様々な形態、知覚、空間、コンテキスに向き合いダンスを創作、ギャラリーや劇場などで作品を発表している。近年の主作品はマルフィルムによるインスタレーション＆パフォーマンス『ON VIEW』シリーズ。
2019年、「フィッシャー・ゴールド・アワード」、18年「第65回ブラック賞」、17年「デジタル・ポートレイト・アワード、ナショナル・ポートレイト・ギャラリー・オーストラリア2017」を受賞。オーストラリア・ダンス・アワードのフィルム/ニューメディア/インディペンデントダンス部門。18年には『ON VIEW:HONG KONG』にて、香港ダンス・アワード（ベスト・ヴィジュアル・デザイン賞）を受賞。数多くの主要な国際映画祭で自身の作品が上映されている。
Sue Healey is a Sydney-based choreographer, film-maker and installation artist. Experimenting with form and perception, Healey creates dance for diverse spaces and contexts: galleries, theatres and screens. Sue was a finalist in the 2019 Fisher Ghost Award, 65th Blake Prize 2018 and the Digital Portrait Award, National Portrait Gallery Australia 2017. Sue has won 6 Australian Dance Awards for Dance on Film/New Media and for Independent Dance. She was recently awarded a Hong Kong Dance Award for Best Visual Design (ON VIEW: Hong Kong) in 2018.

浅井信好Asai Nobuyoshi
舞踏家・振付家。ストリートダンサーとして国内外のコンテストで優勝。SMAP、浜崎あゆみ、サカナクション等のバックダンサーや振付を担当。2005年～2011年まで山海塾に所属。2016年までパリを拠点に活動後、帰国。名古屋にダンスハウス黄金4422を設立。これまでに35カ国150都市以上で公演を行っている。

湯浅永麻Yuasa Ema
＜NDT＞に11年間所属後フリーとなり、マッツ・エック版 『Juliet&Romeo』ジュリエット役、サシャ・ヴァルツ『Körper』 などにゲスト出演。 渡辺レイ、小㞍健太と＜Opto＞として活動、シディ・ラルビ・シェルカウイ率いる＜EASTMAN＞にも所属し出演多数。Kronos Quartet、ピアニスト 向井山朋子、能楽師 安田登、建築家 田根剛、ファッションデザイナー 廣川玉枝などとコラボ作品を発表。 2019年第13回日本ダンスフォーラム賞受賞。

ジョゼフ・リーJoseph Lee
香港生まれ。17歳からダンスを始める。2015年にロンドン・コンテンポラリー・ダンス・スクール（The Place）で修士号を取得。脱構築的な手法を用い、ダンスやパフォーマンスそのものの本質に問いを投げかける。2017年には香港芸術発展賞（Hong Kong Arts Development Awards）で芸術新人賞を受賞。
Born in Hong Kong and began his dance training at the age of seventeen. In 2015, he obtained his MA at The Place, London Contemporary Dance School. He questions the nature of dance as well as performance with his deconstructive approach to examine this particular art form. In 2017, he received the Award for Young Artist presented by the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards.
ムイ・チャック-インMui Cheuk-yin
香港の「ダンス・アンバサダー」として国際的に高い評価を受ける。独自の世界観に溢れる振付は、現代的でありながらも中国の伝統的な要素を取り入れる。さらなる高みを目指し続ける揺るぎない信念と情熱は香港のダンス・コミュニティーから高く評価され、これまで３度の香港ダンスアワード、香港ダンス・アライアンスから功労賞を受賞するなど受賞歴多数。
An internationally renowned solo artist and dance ambassador for Hong Kong. Her choreography has a distinctive aesthetic voice and, while contemporary, often incorporates Chinese elements. Her unwavering commitment and passion to strive for the best in dance has earned her numerous honours from the Hong Kong community, including three Hong Kong Dance Awards and the Distinguished Achievement Award presented by the Hong Kong Dance Alliance.
ナリーナ・ウェイトNalina Wait
西オーストラリア・パフォーミングアーツ・アカデミー（WAAPA）で学士号（ダンス専攻）を取得。ニューサウスウェールズ大学（UNSW）で優等学位を取得し、現在は同大学の博士課程在籍。ダンス・アーティストとして、スー・ヒーリーが手掛けた全てのシリーズ作品『NICHE』、『IN TIME』、『THE CURIOSITIES』、『ON VIEW』（2013年〜）のほか、ハンス・ファン・デン・ブルック（SOIT）、ロザリンド・クリスプ、ダンス・ワークス、マリーナ・アブラモヴィッチの作品に出演。オーストラリア体育大学（ACPE）の講師を務める。
A lecturer in Dance at the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) with a BA (Dance) from WAAPA, Hons1 and PhD from UNSW. As a dance artist, she has performed in all of Sue Healey’s series “Niche”, “In Time”, “The Curiosities”, and “ON VIEW” (2013-present), and in works by Hans Van Den Broeck (SOIT), Rosalind Crisp, Dance Corks, and Marina Abramović.
ベンジャミン・ハンコックBenjamin Hancock
ダンサー、振付家。これまでルーシー・ゲリン、リー・サール、スー・ヒーリー、プルー・ラング、アントニー・ハミルトン、マーティン・デル・アモ、ナレル・ベンジャミン、メラニー・レーン、ギデオン・オバザネクなど、オーストラリアのダンスシーンを牽引する振付家の作品に参加。パフォーマーとしてミュージアム・オブ・オールド・アンド・ニュー・アート（MONA） 、プロスペクト3・ニューオーリンズ・ビエンナーレ、＜チャンキー・ムーブ＞、ビクトリア国立美術館、＜Lucy Guerin Inc＞などで作品を発表。ドラァグクイーン・キャバレー＜YUMMY＞のメンバーでもある。

『Portraits of Dance Artists』は多様な背景や経歴をもつ、幅広い年代のダンス・アーティストと共に撮影・製作したダンスフィルムで、2015年にシドニー、2017年に香港、そして2018年には愛知にて、約20名のダンスのポートレートを撮影してきた集⼤成を⼀挙公開します。
“Portraits of Dance Artists” is a dance film created in collaboration with dance artists of diverse backgrounds, careers, and ages. The work is the culmination of previous stages of the project bringing together the “portraits” of some 20 dance artists filmed in Sydney in 2015, Hong Kong in 2017, and Aichi in 2018.
